America is the greatest country the world has ever known. NOT for what we have done but for what we have tried to do. The ambitious plan that a county of strangers could create a fair and just government for all of its people while providing great opportunity for its people. That we have at times failed does not diminish the historical reverence that once upon a time, mens thoughts , prayers, hopes, faiths and efforts could imagine that such a place could be. That men would give everything including their lives for the meer chance.
To deny this says to me you never had hope and you have given up on the chance.
