The only reason the game was on was because the wife wanted to watch it. She said former Dawgs were playing and a good friend was pulling for KC so she was too.

Having said that, I thought Stapleton did a pretty good job, much better than some who have massacred it. I’d much rather hear it sung (or just played) with emotion, respect, and reverence for the meaning of the song. I’d just as soon hear a military band play it as written. They would do it right.

I didn‘t know Stapleton supports leftist politics. I won’t download any more of his music.
