Slight hijack of the thread, but is there a way to keep snakes out of a ground blind ?

Friend of mine had his blind set up for deer hunting last November and had a big canebrake hit him right below the knee when he got in his in the dark one morning. Nasty bite too. Six doses of Crofab. Ya`ll look real good before you crawl in.

I put a plastic owl in my shed and it has kept snakes, mice and squirrels out. Might work in blinds???
