Has anyone seen and shot the new single shots by Henry ? I would like to check out a 308 but haven't been able to find one in a store.
Yep if you get one might as well get the 308 to start with. Got all your bases covered.

I own one in .308 and it is indeed a beauty. Comes with a solid 10lb trigger. They have two hammer triggers, one inside the other. Simple fix. Take out the center spring drops it to around 5-6lbs. Put a lighter main spring in and your at 4. Shoots great.

I got one in 45-70 about 4 months ago and I absolutely love it. The fit and finish is unparalleled and its a tiny little canon. Recoil is manageable with Hornady 325gr FTX leverevolutions. Way better than shooting a Mossberg 835 ulti-mag!!!

Beautiful rifle! I have yet to see one with average wood. The quality of wood, fit and finish is well above their price point. Accuracy reports are consistently great. I also am very impressed with mine.
