How late can I plant brassica and still get good results?

I’m gonna give it another week before I plant, it’s dusty dry here.
I do like it to stay dry until all the cotton is picked though, keeps me from chasing picker break downs through Christmas.

We are about to have purple hull peas again. Where I harrowed the old in. Seed sprouted. Got beans on.
We did nothing to them til the other day. Just put 17 17 17 on them and watered.
Nice fall surprises. My grand parents always planted 2 gardens. Guess I may start that also.

I'm right there with you! Got 2 plots left and seed just sitting in the shop waiting for rain forecast to look better.
