Think I have the count right for 2024 thus far:

145 sawtooths planted - started from acorns.

3 pear trees - four year olds - planted too deep in shade on other farm so I transplanted them on our place in full sun.

4 Granny Smith and 2 red apple trees - guessing they are 2 years old - they are 5-6’ tall.

In about 5-6 weeks, will start the persimmon process - hope I am better at it this year than I was in 2023.

Best of luck to all

Was thinking about this yesterday and I picked up a handful of live oak acorns. Will try to plant them in pots in the coming weeks.

Saw a few of the oaks peeking up thru the tubes going down the dirt road today, very nice!

Please tour the farm, Karl.

Love to know what you think about the clover and is it worth trying to save long term.
