I had an old DKPD Ithaca riot gun. It still had the rack number crudely carved in the stock, and stenciled on the receiver. Bought it for $80 at Brock’s Army/Navy in Decatur. I found a new (to me) .30-06 that I wanted for deer hunting, but was short on funds. Thought I was coming out good getting $120 for it on trade. Saw 1 about 10 years later, not DKPD issue, a run of the mill M37 riot gun, for $700. Luckily, if you can find one, their price has been pretty stagnant the last 20 years.
