Is it me or did the does give birth late this year ???

weather has nothing to do with when does go into estrous. It has to do with photo period. The height of the sun in the sky. Most does will come into estrous at the same time every year but not all of them will get bred. They will cycle every 28 days until they are. Most fawns from this year won’t breed This year. Some will come into estrous in December or January. I’ve read that white tails can and will breed year round in the south. Not the way nature intended but it happens. A buddy took a pic several years ago of a spotted fawn road killed in December.
