I'd have to put that work of art in a display case.Received a number of requests for my Kinchafoonee model. This one’s a little special with an upgrade on handle material as the thread title suggests. CPM154 stainless blade @ 62.0 Rockwell hardness. She’s a cutie pie. Thanks for looking!View attachment 1228135
This one will be blood soaked by September I bet…I'd have to put that work of art in a display case.
Be to scared I'd loose it.
Oughta just rename it “Ol Nick’s stomping Grounds “Another nice knife! The name has a good ring to it.
My favorite as well. The high grade handles are $$$$$. I don’t stock any plain grade desert ironwood as it’s without figure. Just chocolate brown wood. Ugh. I have “good” grade ironwood that is still reasonable in price (+ $25-$50 over the base price). The exhibition stuff like that? I just add what it cost me to the base price of the blade. Usually around a hundred bucks for the crazy good stuff.Don't think I ever told you - I love desert ironwood!
Fantastic knife!
