Key West Vacation help needed

We are looking to vacation in Key West soon. For those that have done it, I would appreciate any information you can provide. Such as how to get there, we plan on flying and where to stay and what to see. We plan to stay for about a week. Thanks in advance.

Take a boat trip to the Dry Tortugas. Wonderful trip. It will take all day and return at dusk.

I've never been but I would like to take the boat trip to the Dry Tortugas.

The wife and I went a while back and a day spent at the Dry Tortugas is definitely worth doing. We also enjoyed Mel Fisher's museum, seeing everything they found (and are still finding) from the Atocha. Take plenty o $$...everything in KW is pricey.
