Me and my fishing buddy broke the West Point striper record a few days ago. And caught some other nice fish. I don't think the record will stand long though. We had been joking during the trip about breaking the record and we ended up doing it.

It was 37 on the boga's. It was 36.17 on certified scales a few hours later.

If you are on the big ones, I would check to see if there are any obtainable line class or flyrod world records and go for one of those. That would be pretty cool.

No, we released the 29 and 24 though. we never keep fish but had to on this one to get it certified.
