That’s for the tips men, I know they’re still there and out and about. Just wasn’t sure of key things they’re looking for this time of year. If I get a chance I plan to head up and tromp around some more. Merry Christmas fellas.

With most of the acorns eaten up off the ground now, and no ag fields or anything like that, what would a bear be consistently eating in the woods? I know for deer if there are no food plots with grasses and such they will browse the soft part of twigs and such but what is there for a bear to regularly eat this time of year?

I saw plenty of acorns still on the ground in the mountains. Autumn olive in some of the scat too.
