May have found my unicorn rifle

Cabela's in Fort Oglethorpe has an FNH Mauser sporter that's been restocked and rebarrelled to 257 Roberts. I'm very tempted, but the price is $759.99. May let it sit there for a while and see if it drops. They also have a vintage Remington bolt gun in 300 Savage that was calling my name.

Wow those would be two hard guns to choose between! I recently bought a Ruger M77 in 257 Bob and been loving it!

.257 Roberts is another round that I love. I have 2 rifles chambered in it, a Ruger no 1KA and a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1952 FS carbine. Both are very sweet handling rifles. I predominately bow hunt but every so often I get the urge to carry a rifle for sentimental reasons. I often will wear my buffalo plaid jacket too.
