Maybe he is doing well in life and it's his way of making you have a better life also. I would do the same if I hit the lottery.

I think its admirable that he wants to buy it , instead of waiting and getting it for free, and apparently he feels like his siblings might give him problems at some point, having been an executor in a couple of wills I can attest to the fact that sibling forget family loyalty when inheritances are involved !

That’s true. But if my Son wanted to do the same. I would only do it if he signed a agreement that if he married or remarried there would be a prenuptial clause so the spouse could never claim it.
