Followed by his twin with two good eyes.
And a 10 that has followed me around my farm for the past two weeks.

Very nice pictures! Things happen in nature. I caught a coyote in a trap two years ago that had one eye missing. I caught one two years ago that had a front foot GON from the elbow down. I caught one last year that the whole front leg was missing. Wild animals are resilient!!!

Is that something sticking out of his eye socket or infection?

As I said on the other thread, I'd hammer that chocolate 10

Dang son, you got some great looking deer! Those 2 spikes together, are they brothers? And are they 1.5 year olds?

Looks like skin and hair. The wound is sealed over and doesn't appear to hinder him as far as I can tell.
My guess is a battle wound and he looks just fine! I wonder when it happened. Seems long enough ago that it healed over. I’m wondering what affects it had on his nice symmetrical rack…..or will have. Boy he’s a handsome fella!

What county is that. I’ve got a one eyed deer named Willie I haven’t seen all season.47D4E8C9-F987-4712-AEAF-D0B53ED41B20.jpeg

I’m in Henry. Unless he took 75 south for about 2 hours I’m doubting it’s the same deer.
