Pink Chants

found about 2lbs of chants today in a few spots that produced last year. One of the hillsides had a mixture of yellow and pink. Some growing side by side. Is this just genetic variation or would these be considered a cinnabar?

Those look like C. persicinus, peach chanterelles. They're usually only found in the mountains. Cinnibars are tiny, much smaller than normal chanterelles.

Thanks for the input Hillbilly. I find loads and loads of chants that color. I don't know terribly much about chants, so I just figured they were faded golden chants or something like that. I didn't know they are actually called peach chants! Good to know. I'm always learning!
