Prescribed burn?

Questions for all y'all public land hawgs chasers. If a WMA was recently burned it had hogs prior to burning how long till they return or will they? I was hoping with new under growth it would bring em back fast but I have zero knowledge about this. Thanks for your time.

It shouldn’t take long. A few years ago I burned some timber around a loading ramp and hogs came back while the loading ramp trash was still smoldering.

They’ll be back before the smoke clears.

Roots and such will be easier to get to.
If they still have cover and water, they should hang around until the food is gone.
