I been hunting my Stephens pup by himself on a few feeders to try to get him started on coons. He has ran some good hot tracks.....and he really throws the tongue to them. Well tonight he hit one off the feeder and ran it about 150 yards and I heard one big dying bawl. Well he left it and came back out to us. He's been doing this some and I knew it just wasn't his time to tree yet. Well me and my buddy went on in there to about where the Garmin showed him when he located, and sure nuff, I squalled and we found his eyes. I pumped Luke up on the tree a little and got a few barks out of him. I knocked the ol coon out and Luke got himself a mouth full of fur. I hung him back up and let him tree for a minute. Luke ain't but 9 months old but I believe he is going to be a lot of fun.
