Cant read the story thanks to the ajc blocking the screen because I dont have a subscription.

I am sad that the state didn't buy it. All that surplus tax revenue and we let kemp lets it go to developers.

The sad part is by the time they develop it the economy will be in the tank and it'll just be a construction zone for 20 years.

I realize how cheap the govt is in most aspects, and I don’t know the details of the family situation. But I do feel like sometimes you need to put the good of your planet and the fellow man ahead of your economic interests.
But again, I’m not the owner of thousands of acres and probably never will be. I’m not gonna throw stones at either side. I do hope a deal is done to save it.

Might as well go by moonlight now. I’d bet the locals that already run that place are having a field day for a while….. it may get crowded on a full moon.
