Smoked Mullet

Smoked some mullet on pear wood..ate some cold for lunch..made dip for supper..so good! Seasoned w/ Everglades..my goodness gracious! Wife cooked stuffed salmon & lil trees..stuffed!

Great Merciful Heavens, man please!

I`ve been saying it for a couple of years now, but this December I will be right in the middle of the mullet when they are running, cast net in hand. Mullet are in my top 3, in particular, fried or smoked.

Some good fresh mullet are hard to beat . I like them fried , skin on . We had spaghetti

Ole guy on here a while back used to say " aint but 2 ways to cook meat..smoked or fried" ..thats mullet for sure! Had fried sun pm..think this was better..only thing better would have been smoked roe too!

we had some leftover lingonberry jam from wife's last trip to the ikea. opened it on a chicken salad sammich a few weeks back.

tonight we did a lingonberry pork tenderloin. NAILED IT! According to the mrs. If ida use cast iron in stead of oven sheet pan, it may have been even better… son did all the work. He gets a meal credit….$5

I love smoked Mullet, Herring and American Shad.

Also love Trout and Salmon but that is better cold smoked.

LOVE IT! Reminds me of my Mama. She made the best smoked mullet dip ever.
