Some people can’t help being crooked

At my corporate office, they put all that stuff out for free. No need to worry about theft when it's free!
It’s that way at our corporate office too. Different clientele. You ever see those videos when food stamps went unlimited? It would work like that. We have several box lunch days each month that are free. We have 146 employees.

This day and age, many human beings are total idiots and thieves. I would hate to know I have a business that relies on others to help run the business. Hiring a employee must be a absolute nightmare presently. Good luck with your venture.
We had a new start no call no show today. You wouldn’t even believe it.

Who takes a physical, drug test and background check, passes all and just can’t make it in on the first day.

HR called to see what the cause might be in case it was legit. Overslept. Idiot

What is really scary is what the worth ethic has evolved from 20 years ago til today. Image another 20.
I had to get out of people leadership. I may have posted this before but a buddy has a tranny at work and HR is making them allow the dude in the women’s restroom.
I don’t think I could lead a confused individual. My 35 years in management taught me to eliminate distractions, not tolerate them.

Working towards retirement now.

Not for stealing, but we fired a guy Friday because he couldn’t show up on time. Poor feller was begging for his job, but late and a couple of no show no calls is to much.

In one of the ecomm business I ran, I went into the controller's office and noticed she had the cream and sugar in her office. The big skinny canisters that you get from Uline or CostCo. I said Carol, why are you storing that in here, we have cabinets in the kitchen?

Well apparently around Thanksgiving and Christmas, when people are baking pies and cookies to who laid the chunk, they took the big cans of sugar home to bake with...

So Carol noticed the increased demand, and secured the valuable sugar in her office...only 1 open canister in the break room at a time...

:)

We put in a lunch market where you just grab what you want and pay at the kiosk. We had a meeting to advise there are cameras inside the coolers and all over the lunch room.
We now are firing people for pocketing energy drinks and not paying.
Who loses a job over $3?
Putting that $3 into a hobby stock account? :)

Batteries will also start disappearing around Christmas to handle the "batteries not included" demand.

True that. I toured a fulfillment center south of Atlanta for a shoe business...one of their customers was Energizer...all the batteries were locked up in a cage like jewelry. Most stolen? AAs and hearing aid batteries. Fit in your pocket and worth something when you sell them.

They had a novel concept...they took all of the oldest about to expire batteries that they could not ship to customers, put them on a pallet, and let the EEs grab them at Christmas...pretty smart...
