State park quota picking strategies...

Seems as though the latest issue of GON will have alot of guys putting in for yargo...Maybe some of us will finally get to hunt Hard labor,or one of the new ones.Is anybody else hoping this works to our advantage in getting selected for one of the other hunts?I my self hope everyone puts in for Yargo.I may add it in as last choice for fun because the story did pump me up...

Im going to applly for the bowhunt at Bobby Brown. But its only 350 or so acres

Yeah, I believe everybody will apply for Ft Yargo now. A small quota of 65 people isn't many, so I doubt I'll personally know anyone that gets picked. The odds must be terrible, and I think it's a wasted pick. I think I'll put it for one of the new ones, maybe they'll turn out to be the new deer slaying heaven!! A new area means it hasn't been hunted much or at all!! TONS OF DEER!!!

You may be right Hard labor has been hunted hard for 2 years,they took half as many deer this year as last..bring on the fresh meat!!!!
