Season highlights:
1. How many deer harvested
2. Favorite memory
3. Next year's goals
4. Picture of largest buck

1. I was able to harvest 4 deer.
2. My favorite memory was my son being in the blind with me on Sapelo and seeing his first deer killed and helping gut it.
3. Next year's goal is to haul a deer in my Jon boat back to the boat ramp. Doesn't matter if it is doe or buck I just think it will be awesome.

Y'all join in let's see em'

@Blackston good stuff man really good stuff. Always a treat when we can bring our kids along for the adventure. Mine is almost 17 now they grow really fast.

Didn't pull the trigger all year...could have killed plenty but didn't see anything I wanted to kill..still feel 2022 was a success. Got my 2021 cutovers sprayed, firebreaked, and burned. Replanting in the next 2 weeks. Had a forestery mulcher open up some long neglected areas that I can now manage with my bush hog.. Got a good number of young deer running sround and sticking their noses in the feeders. Excited for the future

Woohoo! Way to go Shawn! Love sharing short stories with you at work, even though I don’t have time to:bounce:
Can’t wait to see a deer in the Jon boat! @Jonboater seems to have that one figured out(yeah, that’s a shout out too you brother!)

You already know I’ve had the best season ever killing my first buck and two does in KY, then my first GA deer a week ago.
I’m bout to load up the ebike and go check a few shorelines if I can get motivated…….I’m wiped out and may go take a nap!

Not sure how next year is gonna go as pretty much everything will depend on recovery from the shoulder surgery…..February 13th! But I’m already trying to imagine a one armed shotgun setup for Turkey season……of course I am. I guess the biggest thing I have planned for next season prep is helping my friend clear a small area of some pines. His whole property needs a good burning so the greenbrier and muscadines can do their thing too. Gonna plant something and try to have a food source besides a feeder for next year.

Congrats on a great season!
Here’s some of my season

1. Only killed one deer, but also shot a yote with my bow

2. Getting to hunt with my childhood friend who joined the navy after high school and recently moved back to Georgia. He didn’t kill anything, but was there when I killed my buck.

3. Hunt with the bow more. It’s been two years since I killed a deer with it.
