Dinner yesterday at the local meat & 3.
Country fried steak, collards, green beans & peach cobbler.

This evening, we honored my late Nanny on her would be 85th birthday!
Went with fried chicken….She always preferred Church’s, but the wife picked up some from Kroger since she was there. Was pretty good!

Leftovers, plus ramp salsa, oh my, shut the front door. Wife's 2nd pic, too hot

Wife had spaghetti but pasta isnt extremely blood glucose friendly so i grilled some Italian sausage. It was marked down and mild so it colored em red with cayenne. Unfortunately i burned the ends of asparagus. Hard to grill that bacon without charring it. Sausage looks burned too but it was just in color.

Fried gizzards is one thing I have never tried that I recall. I've eaten my weight in livers, though. Doused in hot sauce.

An Onion and Pepper Sausage and Hot Roast Chicken Sandwiches

Pork cubed tenderloins with rice and gravy, made a couple biscuits too.

Baked rainbow trout, O rings, cheese sticks and tartar sauce, only thing missing is slaw.
