Trinity Site Visit

I've visited but under different circumstances.

My son wants to make a visit and I know that there are two times per year that you can make the trip (Oct and April). When I look at the details, it is very confusing around how to obtain tickets for the tour, etc. Almost like a go, stand in line and hope that you make the cutoff.

Anyone have experience here?
