Triple tail

WHats the earliest anyone has caught them around Jekyll? I am thinking April or May, not real sure when they show up off the beaches. Got some pics post them. These are some of the pics I had on my phone. First is one I caught. The second is 2 my uncle caught. Third is some my mother and I caught when the came down from DC.

April is aboutt the earliest I have seen/ heard folks getting them. Down Jeckyl way is the best place in the state for them no doubt.

We caught them out from Jekyll... that is some fun fishing... stand at the highest point in the boat... find the "floating newspaper" just at the surface, throw a float and shrimp past them... reel in to it, stop it, let fish take it for several seconds, set the hook, and then enjoy the fight!!!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!
