Venison Bacon

Been processing. Made some venison bacon and some maple sausage (no pic). First chunk non smoked, used fir bacon and some jerky. 2nd chunk smoked, the thinner u can slice it the better i like it.

Do you start with ground and add spices and then smoke?
Or is it a solid hunk of meat that you start with?
Looks good enough to eat for sure.

Yea that BB video is a good one how to do it. They put a whole lot more seasoning on theirs than I do. I found some really fatty ground pork instead of using pork butt. Next time I might try grinding just bacon fat and add.
