Got my first deer of the year on my Retirement property in WV. After a short 5 minute walk from the front door I made it to my stand. While I was getting my bow set in the holder I saw deer coming. 8 does showed up and after about 15 minutes I heard the neighbours feeder spinning and the deer disappeared except for one doe, she walked off the other way. Almost forgot about the flock of turkey that walked through. About 10 minutes later 3 does show up and the lone doe walks back and starts fighting with the others. They backed away and gave her space. She made her way into a opening about 16 yards away. I was already at full draw following her. She stopped and I let the Grim Reaper Hybrid fly. She ran about 20 yards, stopped and looked back and fell over. Took out both lungs.
