A Kinda Random Question

I know everyone knows about deer "jumping/ducking the string" when they're shot at with a bow. It does happen, more so with deer that are on alert, either when they see you, or you've grunted at them to get them to stop.

So I had this sort of random thought, and I haven't been able to find in a short look at the regs if it's even legal, but I was wondering if anyone had ever tried setting up an electronic call a few yards from them to divert a deer's attention in that direction, and away from you? I know some of the predator calls have deer sounds(for lack of a better term) on them, but have no idea about the quality.

What say you?

Doesn't matter which way their attention is. Once they're in high alert, a sound from any direction will get one to duck. It's just how it is with prey animals.
Have noticed on herds that are hunted more/or exposed to people more, the chances of ducking are way higher.
