I like elevated blinds light enough they can be moved easily. Comfortable, for folks my age. And high enough that shots fired will hit the ground out there before going too far if they miss. I spray the inside of my blinds couple times a year to keep wasp and scorpions out. Sometimes it's necessary to cover the windows to keep buzzards or owls from using them for nesting. I use a pully system to raise and lower, a trailer to haul. Rope to a tractor or truck is more safe than doing it by hand. The pulley is strapped to a tree on the off side.
