Carp Bees question

I mixed bora care into my stain and it’s been working pretty well.

Permethrin it is deadly on these bees and is safe for your pets but spray holes and the wood itself and they will be gone. Maybe repeat once a month or when you see bees

The carpenter bees in my area tend to like pressure treated wood best

Same here. It seems to attract them and then once their larvae hatch it attracts all of the Pileated Woodpeckers in the county.

I will add this, I stopped seeing any carpenter bees after my wife stuffed some plastic grocery bags to look like hornets nest and hung them up. May have been a coincidence but she had seen the idea online and tried it.

You better read the precautions on the label again. Permethrin is deadly to cats and fish.

Just ordered from Amazon…the citrus and peppermint oils aren’t harmful to anything and if you mix it a little strong, oh well…I don’t mind the smell but the bees do

I mix some orange oil with a gallon of water and it will put a hurting on a fireant mound as well. Great insect killer.

Yes it is , but if you spray the wood bees will leave best I’ve found
