For some time now, I have been hearing of farm co-ops and from what I hear, they are a good source of cheap seeds, feritilizer and sometimes equipment rental.

Only problem is...where are they located? And how do you find them? Can anybody just walk in and buy from them? Are they private set ups or established by some government deparment in each county or what?

Thanks.

Farm co-ops are generally owned by a group of farmers originally set up to benefit them and surrounding farmers.Only good suggestion I know would be to stop at a farmers shop or home and ask!You will find they are scattered around in about every county.
may I suggest you go to Walmart,Tractor supply,or wherever and get your prices up for what you are looking for.Sometimes Walmart is cheaper on certain thing because they buy so much quantity.
Good luck with your shopping!

Here's the number for the one that's local to here, 478-825-2010. If ya call them they might know of the number of one that ya could use locally.
