Feel like a bone head

Been butchering pigs at Bradley’s for 20+ yrs and in the last 10 or so months I’ve cut myself where I’ve needed medical attention. Tonight was the second time.

Stuck the main artery in my left wrist. Blood went everywhere unless I held pressure on it. I went in the store and got doctored up and was sent home. First ham of the night!!!

I waited almost 2 hrs and it wouldn’t quit bleeding. Oldest daughter got word (RN) and demanded I go to urgent care. 3 stitches inside and 4 out and I’m back at home finally.

Gotta be tough when you are stupid.

Awww...that'll buff right out. Might need to slow down a little. We all get bit every now and again. They say you don't own a knife until it bites you. Hope you heal up soon.

That cut glove won't stop pokes. Plus, you can't feel anything wearing one of those. Meaning the meat that you are handling.

Nothing different but the date. It happens to all of us that have hours a week with a knife in our hand. I'll be back at it Wednesday.

Domestic but I tell ya, if you have a nick on your finger or get one it huts worse and takes longer to heal. I'm usually spot on but it happens I guess.
