Revisiting this thread. I lost 40.... went back to my old ways and gained it back.

Starting again tomorrow on trying to do better.

Good luck brother. I have to be conscious of it every single day. June of 2018 I was 320 pounds. This morning I was 227. Diet and exercise. If I can do it, anybody can. Good luck with your weight loss journey. For me wearing a tracker, I have a Fitbit, really helps. You can monitor your heart rate, steps, etc.... as well as you can log in what you are eating and drinking to keep up with your calories. Like Dub said, as long as you are burning more calories than you take in the weight will come off. When I was actively losing weight my goal was for at least a 1,000 calorie deficit a day which equals about a 1-2 pound weight loss a week. Very manageable. Best of luck and take it one day at a time.
