I passed through Tallahassee on the way down. Missed the last twister by only 15 min. It looked bad all the way through Woodville.

100%. It’s a memorial to my brother. And he fishes with me all the time. I bought the boat shortly after this trip from 1eye. That trout was caught on this boat.

I have taken too many men on their last fishin trips (3or4 depending on if your other 1st responder fished any more after that trip with you and me, IDK).(Sean?)
I hope someone takes me on my last trip one day.

Not floating manana so I'm practicing with a cast net in my driveway. If you can believe it's possible I'm worse at this than any of my other pursuits.

Finally got 1 to open up somewhat. I've never been great but was passable years ago..Been watching videos and they all say hold everything in my right hand since I'm right handed. Felt unnatural. Switched hands like I used to do. Not perfect but better.

A step or 2 above the ground level like you are standing on the deck of a boat might help at this point...
I'm awful at it.
It really is largely about loading the net. and then holding on to the last corner.
Loading the kills my bad shoulders more than throwing..
