Was just talking about these the other day, wondering when they would show up here. Hate to see them, but their golden webs are pretty cool. Walking into one those in the dark will be fun!

I walked into a spider web many moons ago and had web on my glasses all day. I started breaking off a small branch when walking to take down webs.

Stephens and the south end of Habersham are covered, to the point of it being almost comical. I was walking into a restaurant yesterday and one landed on my shirt from out of nowhere. Just fell out of the sky. Too big to have been doing that trick they do where they spin a web out to catch the wind.

Interestingly, I didn't see any up in Rabun and Towns this weekend, stomping all over the old Coleman River WMA area and up into the Southern Nantahala.

The more I hear about these things, the more I'm sure that I'm going to stick to fishing in a boat from now on. lol
