While we’re still a good 74 days away from the start of the 2010 college football season, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start talking Heisman Trophy candidates.

The oddsmakers in Las Vegas have released their early odds on who will win this year’s Heisman and while some of the candidates won’t surprise you, some just might.

The 26 candidates are split in half — 13 quarterbacks and 13 running backs.
Eight of the past 10 Heisman Trophy winners have been quarterbacks with only Reggie Bush (2005) and Mark Ingram (2009) as the lone non-signal callers.
