I’ve hunted Native American lands the last two years in New Mexico. Some dumb cowboys from Texas had all of their possession seized for shooting 6 point bulls on a cow only elk hunt. They were dropped off at the reservation line with a notice to appear. Their trucks alone were worth way more that $50,000. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Good for the Colorado officers and the land owner working together to apprehend this bum. Seems like a hefty fine, but I am sure that evading the officers, being on private land and being a non-resident was involved with the fine. I hope that Georgia judges start supporting our DNR like this. Fines should definitely reflect the value of our wildlife and get the guilty party to take notice financially. Make it hurt. Good comments from other posters.
