South East GA Ducks

I live in Brantley County and was wondering what the Duck outlook was for this area. I have seen alot of Wood Ducks already this season, and a few Teal but no Mallards. Do they just not exist in GA or what? Would like to hear reports about opening day tommorrow. Good luck and sling some lead (oops steel) for me.

you will start to see some big ducks when it gets cold in the cheasapeke (spelling??) bay area. they are already getting cold weather in the north, but it has to get cold farther down to push them this way. unfortunately that doesn't happen very often and when it does, it is usually the last few weeks of season in january. you will see a few big ducks around, mostly local birds, but not like other areas of the us. you are right however, i have seen more woodducks and teal around this year than in the past several years.
