Squirrel and mice gone

Fannin in the country-very strange that all mice are gone since spring and haven't seen but 2 squirrels....we're curious if covid can affect them?Any wildlife out their care to speculate?

No expert but we didn’t have any squirrels or mice at our place at the lake in Hancock county. What we did have was a heavy population of predator birds. I always assumed the birds were the reason, but it’s only a guess.

Im on the N.E. side of the state and we are covered in squirrels, mice, chipmonks, cotton rats etc....

Middle Ga has a plenty and rabbits.

It's funny we'll start seeing a bunch of bunnies here at our place and then we start seeing hawks and then we don't see the bunnies anymore. Then they both disappear and eventually the cycle repeats. Maybe you have some predator working behind the scenes?
