Taxidermist recommendations near Cumming.....kids deer

My nine yr old killed his first deer last friday and even though I know it would be fine to do a European mount he is trying to talk me in to a shoulder mount because its his first and its a 10pt. Any idea how much they are going for right now and does anyone have any good recommendations within a reasonable distance of Cumming/Dawsonville?

I know a guy not far from you but he’s been really slow on my son’s first hog (closing in on 2 years). His deer mounts are $650. They’ve got some nice looking work so maybe it’s worth the wait. Let me know if you’d like they’re number and I’ll send it in a message.

I Dont know any good taxidermist in that area but Congrats to him on a fine buck!!

beautiful buck! I would recommend wildlife taxidermy in lawrenceville. Little bit of a drive but it’s well worth it

Congrats young man ! It may be expensive but hopefully he’ll cherish it for a lifetime . I got my first decent buck mounted at 13 and 37 years later it’s still hanging proud .

Congratulations to your Son. Last I had done was Moons in Dawson County. Maybe 10 years ago. May not even be in business now but I was pleased with his work.
