I had always assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that this forum was for study and discussion. It was not a forum for monologues and lectures unless they were up for some discussion by those who were interested in both the subject and object of the forum. It was never meant so participants might be antagonistic to each other, but rather that points of views, ideas and concerns could be talked about in the safely and honestly of a common fellowship whereby even for differing views---we can learn and share from each other .

This is hard to do sometimes, ah, alot of the time, but we should try...otherwise we don't have a forum at all, we have instead something else.

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,..."

Giving answers relies on that we are able to ask questions? Sometimes many, many, many questions. Sometimes when people have the answers we have a natural right to the questions from which the the answer(s) came.

Ex. 22:28 Thou shall not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
Meaning Two commands against Anarchy:
1 Do not revile the Gods (Heb. Elohim, Divine Trinity, the source of all law and rewards for obedience to it v 28). There is no definite article before God in the Heb, here as before judges in v 8, 9.

2 Do not curse your ruler who derives his authority from God.
