Well, I WAS planning on going to the range this afternoon to check a couple rifles but I got the opportunity to go to work and make a good bit of money for only about 6 hours worth of work. Needless to say I jumped on it. Planning on dropping by the range in the morning to get the rifles checked before work. Working all weekend so I'll miss the opener and the wife has a medical procedure scheduled for Monday. The way my schedule is looking, I'll miss the first week of the gun season and be able to get in the woods a week from tomorrow.

Did you notice the 1/4 inch tube in the second picture?It’s time for Gadestroyer to buy you a new heavy duty smoothing harrow.
Save that one for the soft bottom land plots.
My nephew will weld that into a new main beam. I just have to dissemble and take it to him.
Only that frame will be original then.

Had a couple hours, so I got the crossbow out.
Shot all my bolts. Found one brand new one that hit 4" high and left at 50. 6" high and left at 60.
Shot it a dozen times. Same result.
Threw it in the trash.
Glad I caught that

I went to work AGAIN. To finance my hunting addiction. I'm fixing to pull a flatwoods on them. It ain't gonna be long.

Replaced 2 deck boards on my trailer so I can bring the tractor to the house. Need to replace 2 more and check out the lights.

You need a friend like me. My friends love for me to borrow stuff.
I usually have to replace a couple tires, fix the lights, etc. When I take it back it works.
On second thought, maybe I need friends with better stuff.

Took the day off to take care of some things and to get ready for tomorrow morning. Got my pack loaded, gear together, gun wiped down, fixin to hit the hay, good luck to everybody who's going tomorrow.
Switched from Optima .50 caliber to Savage .243.

Sometimes this is true.Might be cheaper for you to own the stuff if you’re having to maintain theirs.

I didn't get to hunt with the smokepole this year, I'm starting this season toting my old Marlin 30-30, the one I started out with many years ago, it's got the job done many times.
