How many days do you hunt a season?

I just figured out my “average season” and I found I don’t really hunt that many days IMHO.
We ( my buddy and I because my Wifey doesn’t like me to go out alone) usually hunt the first 4-5 days of the season. Then he comes up from Fl the first weekend of November and we hunt another 4-5 days. He usually makes one more trip in late November, thanksgiving, and then one in January.
Actual days (full days = morning and evening) is about 15 for the season.
I’ll sneak out another 5-6 evenings on my own.
We are hunting three properties that we rotate one morning, one evening and the third the next morning and then repeat.
On my own I usually stay on my own place because of the Wifey’s “advice “.
What do you all do?
Do you worry about too much pressure with days long hunts?
We usually kill 2-3 deer a piece with at least one being an 8 or better. And most of that is done in October through early November.

I know a feller who hunts almost every day and sees deer the whole time. I guess it depends on the stand on whether too much is too much. I'll hunt a few times at the house and a bunch wandering public. I just go when i have time.

I probably hunt 40-50 times a deer season in Georgia. Sometimes that might only be for an hour before dark after work and sometimes it’s an all day sit when I have the time and I feel conditions are good for the potential of mid day movement. I’d say I typically see deer in 75% of my hunts. I kill 3-4 deer a year and another 4-5 pigs a year. That keeps me, family and friends in game meat for the year.

I don't keep count because it's not nearly enough and I go every chance I get which is pretty much any day I want to go. I plead insanity yo honna man. I'm just crazy about this stuff.

I think probably 35 days from opening day of ML until early December. Then sporadically after that. No more than 45-50.
I am retired.

Agreed. 100%

That is why I was curious how much more production the other gentlemen was getting by giving up on hunting. I think I would become much less productive due to my deteriorating mental health if I gave up hunting.

I dread the day I have to give it up. According to my wife it’s all I ever think about.

In the old days, every weekend and 2 weeks vacation. When I retired, for 10 years nearly every day of the season. These days it all depends on how I'm feeling, but I'll hunt till I die. Preferably while I'm turkey hunting.

Never kept up with it . But I’d guess 3-5 sits a normal work week .
I save 8-10 vacation days a year to use for hunting . 4/5 days during thanksgiving , 6-8 days during Christmas vacation . Usually see deer but not always . Put 3-5 in the freezer every season . Sounds productive enough for me !
