What is the best deer camera for the money?

I am finally going to get into the wild life camera business. My friends have been using them for years and they talk about all the deer they see under their feeders. Well I have decided to get one, I just need a basic model, one that is economical because I am sure it will be stolen or destroyed. Yes it is for security use. Some one has raided the hunting club behind my property and stolen all their cameras, ground blinds and blind chairs.

Wildgame innovations work well for me as a cheaper option. Or see what walmart has in stock.

I just need a basic unit to set up on the drive to my shop to keep a check on who is coming and going also to see what time the armadillos are out.

I have had good luck with cheap WGIs. I see a lot of people saying that the Tascos are another good inexpensive option.

I like the Brownings. I started with Stealth Cam, they are on the cheaper side and did OK. Have 1 Moultrie, its slightly better than Stealth Cam, but I now have 6 Brownings and they are by far the best to operate, program, and battery life. They are not the cheapest , around $125 each.

+1 on the Browning Cameras. I love mine - takes great pics whereever I've put them. You can get this one on Midway for $100 right now, and they've been doing free shipping codes most weekends:

I also picked up a couple of these $30 Muddy cameras from Academy to use on public land where they might get stolen (and the range is pretty close). Haven't used them yet though

Tasco 8 or 12 mp for $30-40. I have used the cheap WGI Cameras in the past and had issues. Had these 3 tascos for 2 years and have never had any issues. Good battery life, decent pics, easy to use. For the price they cant be beat imo.

I've been using the same 5-6 Wildgame Innovations for the last handful of years. They stay out year round and I haven't had one fail yet.

The cheap Wildgame Innovations that come with batteries and a memory card for around $50. Got mine from Walmart per a buddies recommendation. Not fancy, have to use your feet to check them but work great and had no issues.

I run mostly browning cams - bulletproof now for 3 years solid. I've had bushnell's and moultries - they are ok. The new cell cams, I have a cpl of Reveal X's - love them so far but time will tell.
