Who’s putting some seed in the dirt this weekend?

Too wet on my land (Brooks County). I was hoping for some dry weather and was shooting for the very end of September. I’m planting about 2 acres in a mix of 70% Iron & clay peas and 30% Hancock seed fall and winter food plot mix.

I planted a few plots and my winter garden greens last Wednesday the 15th and they were up by Saturday the 18th. Wet and heat can't be beat, I've waited two weeks or more for seed to break ground in the winter.

Back up to CMHC this weekend to do a split between hunting and planting. We got a couple of plots planted in Brassicas and oats last weekend and are getting ready to do our White Clover over the next few weeks. Got blessed with a good bit of rain this week.
Hope all goes well for you and Cindy this year David. I sure hated to hear the news about your lease.

I have to plant in Pulaski, Crawford, Houston, and Dooly county. Total is probably 12-13 acres. Have to get started soon. Oh how nice it would be to have a no till drill.

I planted just ahead of the rain. I think this may be my best plots ever this year
