Dumb charging question

I just got a new boat with a 3-bank charger. Like normal, 2 are for a 24 volt trolling motor and 1 is the cranking battery. Is it perfectly normal to charge all 3 batteries when the trolling motor batteries are worn down? In my previous boat, I always charged the trolling motor battery and only checked the cranking battery from time to time.

I'm just asking, does it hurt anything to repeatedly charge the cranking battery when it is almost fully charged?

This is the charger I have:

Plug in and relax. The cranking battery will thank you. If they are wet cell batteries, just check them annually that they have water covering the cell. Even so called maintenance free can evaporate in a hot dry summer.
Use Distilled water only.
