I had one. Shot 30/30 ammo in it to get fireformed cases as an experiment. Worked fine, just have to trim length before loading as a Herrett.

This will be my first time fire forming ammo.I think it will be a fun gun to shoot.did you ever hunt with it?

No but only because I also had many other barrels including 357 Maximum and 35 Rem. The 357 Herrett is a fun round but I had more barrels than time to play with them all.
