Finally in a tree . It rained hard all morning and finally let up at 1:30 so I made a run for the stand in a creek bottom out of the wind. I bumped 4 does under the stand but they just eased off. Hope to catch one on there hooves.

Back at it and swinging from a tree, well kind of. The front just passed and there is a steady wind(the Weather Channel says 17 mph, but I don’t think it’s quite up to that). Anyways, they should be getting on their feet to feed. Hopefully big pappy tries to slip through. Good luck everyone!

Finally Live again! Nasty day and still nasty windy, but the rain is finally out.
I'm in a stand I havent hunted but know the area well. We call it the Bushnell lock on. Its 15 yards inside the edge of a small culdesac of a huge cut corn field with a power line running thru it. I will no doubt see deer, just hope they use the super highway at 25 yards out front.
Day started at 63 and it's 42 with 19+ mph winds from the NW right in my face with no block. Sweet!
Dave has rifle in hand and is in a stand called Spartan. Which is a lockon in a little kick out of woods again on a giant cut corn field.
Scott is in another state pulling stands and Bubba will be providing play by play from the truck.
Only 2 hours to go!
