I hear what your saying.....I just didn’t get that vibe or take the post that way. And I believe the OP stated that wasn’t his intentions.?Hard to tell on the net sometimes. Responding to post #38.

Probably not his intentions. But the replies that followed kind of went down the same tired road. It's just a peeve of mine that I see every year. We should all be helping each other. The net turns to negative town way too often.

Other than a new custom knife that catches my eye, I haven`t bought anything hunting related in years. Why should I? I have a fine rifle, plenty of bullets for it, my boots are good, I hunt in my work clothes, so I`m always ready to hit the woods.

If I ever get able to bowhunt again, the Bear Super Grizzly I got in 1968 will still do what it was designed for.

My cousin, God rest his soul, was a great deer hunter. He never fell for the Realtree/Mossy Oak craze. He hunted all of his life in Carhart overalls.
